03 - Pour the citrus syrup over the fruit mixture and gently toss to evenly coat all the fruit pieces.
04 - Serve the salad immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours to enhance flavor and serve chilled.

# Cooking tips:

01 -
  • It takes less time than brewing coffee and tastes like you care.
  • The citrus syrup makes every bite taste brighter without adding heaviness.
  • You can swap fruits based on whats actually ripe instead of hunting down a list.
  • Its one of those rare dishes that works for breakfast, dessert, or when you need something light.
02 -
  • Dont add banana until right before serving or itll turn everything brown and mushy.
  • If your fruit tastes flat, add a tiny pinch of salt to the syrup, it makes the sweetness pop.
  • Use a bowl bigger than you think you need because tossing in a cramped space bruises the fruit.
03 -
  • Chill your serving bowl in the freezer for ten minutes before assembling so everything stays cold longer.
  • If the fruit is really sweet, use all lemon juice and skip the honey entirely.
  • Leftover fruit salad makes a great topping for oatmeal or blended into a smoothie the next morning.
